Bio
Fredrick Parker joins Southwestern Christian College as an assistant men’s basketball coach, bringing experience across the junior college and NAIA ranks and a reputation for strong leadership and player development. Before arriving at Southwestern Christian, Parker served as Associate Head Coach at Palo Verde College and most recently as an assistant coach at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) in San Antonio. Throughout his coaching career he has worked in recruiting, skill development, game preparation, scouting, and mentoring student‑athletes to succeed both on the court and in the classroom.
Coach Parker is known for his ability to connect with players, develop individual skills, and help build competitive, accountable team cultures.
Parker began his collegiate playing career as a walk‑on at Grambling State University after transferring from the College of St. Joseph in Vermont. He is originally from Vossburg, Mississippi, and was raised in Dallas, Texas
